The architecture itself is worth a visit, but besides it minimalistic design and being the trendiest venue in the Condado area, Oceano is one of the best places to eat in Puerto Rico.
Located on Condado Beach, close to the Vanderbild hotel, and just a few blocks away from Cartier and Gucci, you will find Oceano at 2 Vendig Street, Condado.
During high season a reservation is needed, and you need to request beachfront dining if you would like a table outside on the terrace. Inside you can also be seated for luxury dining on the second floor at the modern mansion. Ask to be seated by the window.
During our visits we tried out two of the starters; "Oceano Ceviche" - our absolute favorite - and the "Ahi tuna tartar". For our lunch visit we had the "Poke style ahi tuna tacos", and the "Oceano tropical chicken wrap". For our dinner we had "Grilled pineapple salad" and "plantain chips". Also recommend giving their Mojito a try in the oval bar on the first floor.
The starters are from $14 and entrees from $32. Soups and salads from $9. (We had two starters for lunch, as these are rather generous).
