Burberry S/S16 collection hit the catwalk earlier today. Take a look at some of our favorite looks here.
London Fashion Week started off three days ago and today we got to see Burberry Womenswear Spring/ Summer 2016 walking down the runway. This year British singer Alison Moyet preformed live at the show, accompanied by a 32-piece orchestra.
Earlier Envelope wrote about the British brand previewing some of the pieces on Snapchat, live from their design studio in London. As the finishing touches were being made they were giving the viewers a first hands look at the collection.
Classical coats and functional pieces mixed with elements of regalia.
Burberry described the collection using words such as functional, lace, structure and monochrome. The classic trench coat and biker jackets were represented with golden uniform details, matching the footwear in the collection.
As well as using black and gold, english lace and floor-length satin dresses were included. Designer Christopher Baily created layers of English lace for the summer dresses in soft and feminine colors.
The Belt Bag and The Rucksacks was adding the final touch and maybe representing the new it-bags for the summer/spring of 2016. The beauty look for the collection emphasized natural makeup and statement lips.
