1. Your jewellery are all one piece of art, in what way has art and architecture inspired you?I am not sure in which specific way art and architecture inspires me – I find my inspiration when I travel the world. And all my jewelry is created in a playful and naive process.
2. You also say about your jewellery- they are all pieces of art that tell small stories. What else inspires your design? The balance between the feminine and the masculine energy. I mix Scandinavian lines with Middle Eastern mystique – that is what makes the jewellery sexy.
3. Do you remember your first jewellery from your childhood- birth earrings? Small gold earrings with pink enamel in the shape of a butterfly, which was a present from my Israeli grandmother.
4. What piece was the first you made? The Palma Tag. When I made this, I knew I had found my own unique style.
5. How does your jewellery reflect your personal style? My jewellery pieces are a natural part of me – they show clearly who I am and complete my style as a woman.
6. What was that the initial idea of your brand? To create jewellery that gives you something more than just being beautiful.
7. Have you ever worn silver? No, never.
8. Your jewellery has been spotted on Pernille Teisbæk, and Caroline de Maigret and featured in Rika Mag - what does it mean for you to see your jewellery on these strong women? It means everything to me – I love what they stand for. I am drawn to strong women, who dare to go against the flow. We should all love our own story and dare to tell the truth. I am still humbled and almost shy, whenever I see someone wearing my jewellery – I still can’t believe it!
9. Is there anyone in particular you would like to see wearing your jewellery? I have never had a muse and will probably never have it. To be honest, I make jewellery for myself.
10. What is style to you? Style to me is aesthetics. Style happens in the mix – the mix between the masculine and the feminine. For me style should be powerful, delicate and exclusive. It is the way you carry yourself - you have to dare to believe in yourself.
11. What trends do you believe in for AW16? I have no clue – I don’t follow trends, but I vote for thoughtfulness.
12. Your 3 keypieces for fall? The chunky earring from THE STANGER collection, which will be in stores August 1. ‘The Letter M’ diamond necklace is a MUST HAVE. The Hippie Sun bracelet with colored precious stones, which I am putting the finishing touches on.
