Pink, orange, navy or metallic? Read what some of Norway’s fashion experts has to say about the upcoming color trends.

Earlier this year, Envelope.no asked eight of Norway’s most profiled fashion experts about their trend predictions for 2016. Now we have gathered some of their thoughts about the color palette, so you can be updated on what to look out for the upcoming season.

White

White is always a good a idea, and we love this simple white wrap dress from Veronica B. Vallenes AW16 collection.

Orange

– Drastic changes in color palettes are rarely seen from year to year, but I believe orange will make a big impact, says editor at Melk & Honning, Jostein Wålengen.

Burned colors

– I have a thing for burned colors right now. We got a fantastic terracotta color in our summer collection that I absolutely love, says Nina Granerød, Creative Director FWSS

Metallic

– I believe in white, but with a dash of bright color- usually something metallic, that makes a strong look, says Mona Jensen, Creative Director at Tom Wood.

– I am keeping my eyes on metallic this year, says Alexandra Sætran from Finansavisen Fashion.

Pink

– I think we will see more pastels that previously, especially various shades of pink, says editor at Melk and Honning, Jostein Wålengen.

Navy blue

– I always go back to white, navy blue and black, says creative director for FWSS, Nina Granerød.
