Using masks in addition to your everyday skincare routine is a great way to take care of your skin and add that little feeling of luxury to your everyday life. Masks are often rich in active ingredients which is great as they can make a big difference to your skin in a short time.

After trying out lots of different masks through the years, both bad ones and good ones, we have found some of our favorites and we're ready to share them with you. Read about our favorites here and get tips from some of our favorite beauty gurus, Camilla Pihl and Katarina Petrovic.

KATARINA PETROVIC'S FAVORITE - Giorgio Armani Crema Nera Extrema Terra Pantelleria

"After using this I actually see my face getting cleaner; and my little (very little) breakouts post treatment is a proof as well as the look of my skin. WEI Lotus Blossom Thirst Relief Sheet Mask

If you're in lack of moisture, sheet masks is the way to go. Their purpose is to nourish the skin and the sheet prevents quick evaporation of water phase and extends the time frame the ingredients require to penetrate deep into the skin. Our favorite is this amazing mask from WEI. It is soaked with Lotus Blossom essence and Hyaluronic Acid that provides hydration to the skin and improves moisture levels and elasticity. It comes in a package of 6 masks and is perfect for both a spa night at home and during flights to prevent dry skin from the plane cabin atmosphere.

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask

If you're ever in need of a deep-cleanse then this is the mask to reach for. This calcium and magnesium-rich mask clears congested pores, lifts away impurities and brightens the skin. It's great for most skin types and doesn't leave the skin feeling tight and dry. Only thing about it is that you shouldn't use it right before a special event, because it's deep-cleansing effect can cause a little breakout or two.

CAMILLA PIHL'S FAVORITE - Skin Camilla Pihl

"I love face masks and I just released my own favorites called Skin Camilla Pihl. One of my favorites is Skin Camilla Pihl 24K Gold Collagen Pads. They tighten the skin around the eyes, brighten under-eye bags and eliminate fine lines. Just like a magic wand that takes away every trace of tiredness. They are perfect after a long night on the dance floor and they work wonders for "moms-with-children-that-refuse-to-sleep". Leave them in the fridge over night and apply under your eyes. Elixir Cosmeceuticals Pore Tightening Mask

This green clay mask from the Norwegian skin care brand Elixir Cosmeceuticals is great when you feel like you need a little pick-me-up. It contains Kaolin and Zinc Oxide that tightens pores, has a drying effect on black heads and absorbs excess oil, but it won't leave your skin feeling dry as it also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerine that adds and helps the skin hold moisture.

Origins Original Skin Retexturizing mask with Rose Clay

This light pink 2-in-1 mask with Mediterranean Rose Clay deep cleans while exfoliating with Jojoba beads. Rose Clay is gentle and not drying on the skin, so it's even suitable for more sensitive skin types. The mask helps minimizing pores and makes your skin look noticeably more clear and glowy. Perfect to prep your skin with before putting on makeup for a night out!
