LONDON Envelope by Madeleine Bugge Karlsen

The Canadian-British, London based brand is designed as ‘structured, feminine, intelligent, but playful womenswear for the Future Lady’. The spring / summer 17 collection consists of three dimensional cotton star tooth patterns mixed with light wool in an array of bright summer colours such as Green, Sky Turquoise Blue, Red and Ivory to mention a few. The SS17 collection gives a slight feeling of graphics patterns mixed with stripes, tooth patterns and clean lines - worn with sandals and socks.

FACTS: Edeline Lee graduated from Central Saint Martins Womenswear and apprenticed in the studios of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano before working at Zac Posen in New York and as Head Designer for Rodnik in London. An unintentional soft launch led to a flurry of private orders and the birth of her eponymous collection in 2014. The designer has stated that she designs for the “Future Lady”: her work has been worn by stars like Alicia Vikander, Taylor Swift, Holland Roden and Solange Knowles.
