What do you love about the style in Copenhagen?
– I love black, and there are a lot of black clothes in Copenhagen.

Is there a big difference between the style in Norway and Denmark?
– I think the biggest difference between Denmark and Norway is the brand pressure that’s constantly going on in Denmark. They are all about the big high- street and high- end brands, something I have never been a part of before. It doesn’t matter what brand it is if you find a cool jacket here in Norway. I also think people are better to find more of an individual style in Norway compared to Danmark.

Do you shop vintage or new?
– I buy a lot of vintage and could not care less about what brand I buy. I also try not to buy a lot of clothes any more. I can easily find a pair of vintage jeans for 40 danish coins, which I will have for a long time if I am going to buy something.

How do you want to describe your style?
– It is very variable. I’ve been through a lot of different style the last couple of years. Everything from Levis 501 shorts, belly tops, hippie festival style to punk. I have finally figured out what I like the best, and become simpler in my style. It is not important to me to stand out any more, and I just want to wear what I feel comfortable in.

Do you have any favorite Norwegian brands?
– I love Christina Ledang and Epilogue. I have followed Christina Ledang from the start and did my first real model job for her when I went in the 9th or 10th grade. Epilogue is lady like but in a cool way, I like that.

Has your job as a model influenced your style?
– I lost my style more a long the way because of it. I am not a tight jeans person, but I wore it a lot as a model. Now I avoid everything that’s tight. I also got a lot inspiration since I got to see really cool clothes and people with really good style.

What do you look for when you take pictures?

- I work a bit as a test photographer for Heartbreak, and I like to take pictures of people. I´m also obsessed with mistakes, and love tings that are ugly but also looks good.  This also applies to people, I do for example love people that can rock braces.

What garment do you never get tired of using?

- I have a black dress from Weekday that I probably have had for four years, that I use time after time. It is just a normal everyday dress with pockets, it is actually quite boring, but I love everything with pockets. I also have a vintage bomber that I bought in the freshman year. It is black with flower sleeves, and it fits to almost everything I have in my closet.

What is the most personal thing you own?

- It has to be a silk scarf I got from my grandmother, and before that belonged to my great grand mother. I found it in the attic. It is so pretty, and almost over a hundred years.

What is style to you?

- When I was younger I would hide behind my style. I had that image that I wore wierd clothes, so it became an uncomfortable mask. Now I don´t think so much about what I am wearing. It has gone from being something I used to hide behind to being me.

Three tips for shopping in Copenhagen

 - Copenhagen has a lot of good secondhand and vintage stores, both low priced and expensive.

Low-pirced vintage
If you want something cool and not to expensive you should visit a store that is called Episode or Wasteland. They are located in such beautiful streets, with little cafes, and peaceful surroundings.

Hellerup
If you want high end clothes you should take the train to Hellerup. In the main street there you will find a bunch of secondhand stores where everything is brands, to 1/3 of the price.

Kødbyen
If you want to se interesting people you have to go to Kødbyen. It is an old industrial area with a lot of restaurants and nightclubs. It´s perfect to just sit there, drink a beer and look at the people that passes by.
