Rock on, believe the hype and smell(s) the teen spirit. Make a statement with patches on your jacket this season- the designers have allready adopted the trend to the runway.
- Nirvana, Metallica, AcDc and The Who. Punk, Indie and Rock`n Roll. This autumn/winter we are inspired by the late 70s and 80s punk rock scene. Style your bomber or your favorite army jacket with a few patches - and youre good to go - with the flow.
During Stockholm Fashion Week, we spotted patches on the runway at Whyred, and in Milan the patched bomber jackets were all over in the street, says Celine Aagaard.
At Gucci we have seen this trend clearly the last two seasons, with designer Alessandro Michele. Embroided patches were everywhere- on bags, jeans, dresses and jackets.
- If you are creative you can do it your self, says Celine.
- You can style the bomber with a pair of jeans, or pull it off with a lace dress and some military boots for a laidback look.
