Sporty, maritime and timeless. For the spring/summer 2016 the theme goes back over the first mid 20 centurys male sailor aestethic and adapts it to a womens wardrobe. Carin Wester takes this trend to the point and the hottest trend on the catwalk during Stockholm Fashionweek was the sailing rope used as a minimal belt.
- This is the key accessory for spring, and the next belt thing after the Tie the knot belt-hype this season. I love this maritime iconic trend, and its super easy to style. You can wear this as a belt for your jeans, a denim shorts or a pair of flare. I styled my jumpsuit with the sailing rope yesterday for a shoot, says Celine Aagaard
