The evil eye amulet originated in Greece, where it was known as an “apotropaic” amulet, meaning that it reflected harm. The most basic design of the evil eye, prevalent in the Middle East, is a talisman designed with concentric blue and white circles made to symbolize the evil eye, known as the nazar. It is often used on houses, vehicles, or jewelry. The best way to deal with the evil eye is to avoid it in the first place. Amulets can be worn to deter the evil eye, often using the color blue symbolizing heaven or godliness and an eye symbol.
The third eye is a mystical concept refferring to a speculative invisible eye which provides perception beyond ordinary sight. In Hinduism the third eye refers to ajna, or brow, chakra. In Theosophy he third eye refers to the gate that leads to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousbess. In New Age spirituality, the third eye often symbolizes a state of enlightment or the evocation of mental images having deeeply personal spiritual or psychological significance. People who are claimed to have the capacitt to utilize their third eyes are knowns as seers.In some traditions such as Hinduism the third eye is said to be located around the middle of the forehead.
