Where to eat at the airport

What: Wagamama

Where: International Departure Lounge, South Terminal, London Gatwick

When: 22.02.2016

Eat, work and breathe. Is that possible at the airport? Oh yes.

What is better than a fresh meal before take off? Turn left for McDonalds at the International Departure Lounge at Gatwick  - and you will find the place you can eat healthy, work and charge your mobile at the same time.

Envelope had an hour delayed flight from London Gatwick Airport, and wanted some healthy food before the departure and stopped by Wagamama. Wagamama is a japanese inspired cuisine, with several restaurants in England. They also do take-out and for lonely travellers they have space with chargers and a work space.

For starters or share you can have edamame, wok-fried greens, aga dashi and lollipop prawn kushiyaki. And if you are hungry, we can recommend omakase, ramen or teppanyaki- soft noodles with crunchy vegetables and spicy Yasai surendras curries. The selection of fresh juices is good and you can choose between raw juice, super green, carrot juice, clean green and blueberry spice juice.

If you only have time for a snack go for a green juice and Edamame with sea salt.
