The new "Dior Backstage line" is inspired by makeup artists' must-haves, available in shades for every skintone, in buildable textures. "I created the backstage line for today's women so that they can easily achieve a really natural make-up look with a professional finish. This independent approach conveys the spirit of the cruise collection, which is dedicated to the proud and beautiful Mexican Escaramuza horsewomen, who inspired Maria-Garzia Chiuri. On the catwalk this meant models in strong, timeless and chic makeup" says creative- and image director for Dior Make-up, Peter Philips.
GET THE LOOK: The models wore one of the 40 shades of Dior Backstage Face and Body Foundation, leaving their skin natural and luminous. Their faces were gently sculpted with the Contour Palette in colors 001 Universal and Strobe White and Strobe Gold from the Glow Palette 001 Universal were applied to highlight the cheekbones. The models wore shimmer beige and white nude eye shadows from Eye Palette 001 Warm Neutrals on the eyelids, and their brows were lightly filled in with Brow Palette 001 and 002. Lips were smoothed with Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub and then very slightly emphasized with Dior Backstage Lip Palette 001 Universal Neutrals.
