Your style is unique, what is style to you? The way you choose to be, everyday. That's what I love the most about fashion. By choosing just a single different garment, you feel like a whole different person.
Where do you collect your inspiration? Instagram. The new "save" buttom makes my life much easier, by the way. Pinterest, people in the street, editorials, magazines and movies.
In what way would you say that living in Finland reflect your style if it does? Most of the time here is really cold so I've learned to be smart and creative using more than one layer.
How did you first get into the business? I did my first step when I started modeling for Elite Models at the age of fifteen. Now I just enjoy the moment and have fun with fashion, and I like to share it.
You have a new design-collab up, tell us shortly. I'm collaborating with a Spanish vintage brand that has got this amazing vintage Levis 501.
Your 5 key items for the summer? My slides, oversized shirts, high waisted jeans, cat eye sunglasses and my wicker vintage bag.
What do you never wear? You know, better to never say never, but I'd say nude leggings. I don't like them at all.
When did your interest for fashion start? Since I was a kid I had this great imagination. I used to play creating dresses with my mom's bed sheets. Then I grew up and I worked as a model for a few years. Also being the tallest girl at school made me feel that everything was short, so I started customizing my own garments. Soon I decided studying it, cause I thought it'd be great to DIY and to make it fit you just the way you want.
In what way does your mood affect the way you dress ? In many ways. I'm the kind of person that gets dressed depending on my everyday's mood. Its cold in Helsinki, and I try to be as creative as I can, using layers to make my outfits not only warmer, but also "funnier", interesting and less "boring". Guess it's all about your attitude towards the weather, or anything.
What trends and colours do you believe in for AW17? I love the corset trend, layering, statement sleeves, athleisure, metallic. I love the audacity of the pink-red color combo.
Flats or heels? Heels make me feel more "powerful" and feminine, but the comfy feeling of a pair of sneakers has no comparison.
Favorite item in your closet? My &Other Stories red pumps and my grandmother's vichy shirt.
Top 3 things do in Helsinki? When in Helsinki you must go to Kiasma museum, HAM museum, Talvipuutarha (winter garden), Suomenlinna Island, Pihlajasaari Island, Loyly Sauna,
Must visit store in Helsinki? Vintage stores in Kallio and Punavuori. In the latter you can find some really nice independent designers stores.
Any local designer to watch? I love some pieces of R/H Studio and also some shoes from Minna Parikka.
Where do you get your coffe? I've got my own classic Italian coffee machine at home, cause I like my coffee simple and I do need my americano every single morning. Then in Helsinki it's plenty of places where to have amazing coffee with some raw cake. For example: Brooklyn Cafe, Andante, Kaffecentralen, Kaffa,
